Brian Boppre, Attorney, Boppre Law Firm

BRIAN BOPPRE | SENIOR ATTORNEY

Brian W. Boppre holds a Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law. Mr. Boppre became a licensed attorney in North Dakota in July 2014 and is the Founder/Owner of the Boppre Law Firm, PLLC, in Minot, North Dakota. He is proud to have seen the law firm grow from a single attorney practice to an active firm with three attorneys, one paralegal, one office manager, and four support staff.

Mr. Boppre is a veteran of the United States Navy, serving nine years and specializing in chemical and radiation technology. He still maintains a connection with the local military community, proudly serving as an honorary commander for the Minot Air Force Base.

Mr. Boppre is proud of the many professional opportunities that he has been able to experience – from serving in the United States Navy, working at a commercial nuclear power plant, working in the financial services sector, and many more business ventures – as they have all lead him to be the attorney he is today. Mr. Boppre enjoys being involved in the community. He has served on many boards throughout his life and continues to be involved in civic organizations.

Mr. Boppre and his wife, Deb, have been happily married for over thirty-five years. They have two children and three grandchildren. In his spare time, Mr. Boppre enjoys spending time with family and taking vacations with his wife on their Harley’s.

 
Anthony Cooper, Attorney, Boppre Law Firm

ANTHONY COOPER | ATTORNEY

Anthony holds a Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law, and Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, Albany, New York. While in law school, Anthony interned at the Minot Public Defender's Office. He became a North Dakota licensed attorney in April 2020.

Anthony is a 26-year United States Air Force Veteran who specialized in Computer Systems. He served in many leadership positions and has received several outstanding leadership awards during his long career. As a result, he brings a unique, well-rounded perspective that is well suited to our clients’ needs.

Anthony and his wife, Kim, have been married for almost thirteen years and have two children. He has lived in the Minot community since 2006 and serves as a deacon and children’s Sunday School teacher for a local church. In in his spare time, Anthony enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, playing soccer, and running.

AIMEE DUCHSHERER WILLIAMSON | PARALEGAL

Aimee Duchsherer Williamson is a lead paralegal at Boppre Law Firm. She researches legal questions and issues, drafts documents under the direction of our attorneys, and provides guidance to the paralegal team.

Aimee is a North Dakota native. She attended Minot State University and the University of North Dakota where she received Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees, respectively, in history.

Outside of the firm, Aimee also teaches online history courses for Dakota College at Bottineau and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.

BRAYDA WEBER | OFFICE MANAGER/legal administrative assistant

Brayda is the Office Manager at Boppre Law Firm. She is a Minot native and graduated from Minot High School in 2007. She attended Minot State University in the Fall of 2007 where she studied English, Humanities, and Art History.

Brayda’s duties as the Office Manager include: ensuring an efficient and smooth office flow; organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions. She also assists in various marketing projects and events.

In her spare time, Brayda enjoys reading, cooking, and spending the weekends at the lake with her husband, son and dog.

 
Darla Iverson, Accounting Manager at Boppre Law Firm

Darla iverson | accounting manager

Darla Iverson was born in Minot, ND, and raised on a farm in the Minot area. She is married and has three sons and four grandsons. She graduated from Minot High School and from there attended Capitol Commercial College in Bismarck and received her Legal Secretary Certificate of Completion.

Darla was employed by two Minot law firms before she was hired at Odell-Wentz & Associates (later IRET), where she worked for many years, starting as office secretary then moving into shareholder relations. In 2003, Darla was employed by INREIT Real Estate Investment Trust in Minot and handled shareholder relations for nine years until the company moved their offices to Fargo. Following this she worked at IPM Property Management for 5 years, and eventually came to work at the Boppre Law Firm as Accounting Manager in January of 2019.

Darla’s favorite past times include spending time at the lake fishing and pontooning with her husband, and spending time with family and friends.

 
 

Kanani Salazar | LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Kanani is a Legal Administrative Assistant at Boppre Law Firm. As part of her duties in the office, she greets clients, answer phones, maintains files, files court documents, among other duties.

Kanani earned her Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, she’s committed to personal and career growth.

In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, long runs, yoga, and quality time with family.

 

Katie Smelden | Legal Administrative Assistant

Katie is a Legal Administrative Assistant at Boppre Law Firm. As part of her duties in the office, she greets clients, answer phones, maintains files, files court documents, among other duties.

Originally from Hillsboro, ND, Katie made Velva, ND her home in 2012 when her husband's career led them to MAFB. Since then, she's been diving into her passion for law and making a difference in our community! Katie graduated with an associates degree in Paralegal Studies from Minnesota State Community Technical College in 2021.

When she's not busy at work, Katie loves to unwind by catching up with friends, enjoying the latest movies, and getting her sweat on with her Peloton!

 
 

Rachel loomis | Legal administrative assistant

Rachel is a Legal Administrative Assistant at Boppre Law Firm. As part of her duties in the office, she greets clients, answer phones, maintains files, files court documents, among other duties.

Rachel is originally from Arizona, and has resided in both Goodyear and Prescott, Arizona. In 2024, her husband's military career brought them to Minot. Rachel graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Global Security and Intelligence Studies. After college, she obtained her project management certification and worked as a project manager prior to joining Boppre Law Firm.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, swimming, and enjoying the outdoors by hiking and camping.

Cooper holds a certificate of completion for learning all the skills he needs from Aloha Pet Services. He joined the firm as a puppy in the beginning of 2019 and takes his job very seriously. What’s better than being greeted by a wagging tail? He makes sure everyone is comfortable and will goof around until he gets a smile from you. This helps the attorneys, staff, and clients’ morale – no matter the discussion topic. Of course, he does not work for free and expects to be paid in pets and treats! To which we all happily oblige.
